I grew up playing softball since I was 5 years old. When I got to 7th grade I started playing volleyball for our school. In 8th grade that is when I fractured my ankle and I could no longer play my 8th grade softball season. To say the least, I was devastated. I continued to be apart of the team hoping my ankle would heal by the end of the season. Being bored at games sitting in the dugout, I took out my phone and started taking photos. They were no where near good, but it was something to do. The next year, high school volleyball season, I started taking photos for Varsity after my JV game. Lets just say, they were terrible. However, I fell in love with photography. I started taking my camera to football games, and eventually everywhere I went. My skills improved and people started really liking my photos. By the end of my 9th grade year, I decided to no longer play any sports, and peruse my photography. I am now the Brownsville Area School Districts official athletic photographer and I am really hoping to peruse photography as a career one day.
